Morning all. Its gorgeous here.

Busy weekend for me this weekend. In to town this morning and h*work this afternoon. This evening L's head teacher is doing a sleepover for all the juniors (38 of them - although I don't think they will all be coming) and I have been roped in to help so they have enough adults. I am dropping L off at 7pm and then going to my friends as planned to watch a dvd and then heading back to school for around 11.30pm. I doubt I will get much sleep!!

Tomorrow the girls have their choir practice at 10am and then are performing at the school fair at 12pm. I will go and watch them sing and have a wander around the fair and probably leave them there to make their own way home when they are ready. Home for more h*work as the inlaws are coming on Sunday.

They haven't been for ages - no reason why, just that they never come. I'm not particularly bothered though! Was going to do a roast but it will be far too hot so am doing chops and salad instead which makes life easier.

So I may see you over the weekend or I may not. Have a good one.
Life begins at the end of your comfort zone!

Morning Cruiser, morning Debih, morning Ally, morning Saundra :D :D

Have a good time Cruiser, Debih that sounds a full schedule, hope the day with the outlaws goes ok ;) xxxx

Well I've been hanging on to the phone for 10 minutes and finally got through to the surgery, so have that appointment. I nearly didn't bother but seeing as the weekend is coming up I thought I would - my appt is for 10.50.....

Other than that no real plans - it is a Harry weekend which is great, and the weather looks glorious :D :D

I need to look around for a restaurant for Becky's birthday weekend - we've decided on the Staines/Egham/Windsor/Chertsey area as that's easy for Chris (who doesn't have a car) and Harry, and only an hour's drive for my sister and family. Something slightly nicer than our usual Hungry Horse/Harvester options and in a nice setting, maybe by the river :D

The whole country is set to be bathed in sunshine for the whole weekend - enjoy it everyone :D 8-)

Morning everyone :)
Wall to wall sunshine, how lovely :D
Bluesue it will get you right in the mood for your holiday :)
Debih 38 of them, blimey!!
Cruiser you haven't said where you're going this time but enjoy it won't you :)
Kaz hope the doc sorts you out, and have fun looking at places to eat :)
Saundra enjoy your garden and all those men in sports :)
Ton and Ally - at last we're not jealous, we too can get our washing dry

My back's terrible, it was horrible trying to get comfortable in bed; have never worked out how to sleep when you can't sit and lying down makes it worse :? However, have already had the tens on it for an hour, can do another hour in a minute, had some ibuprofen and been out for a little walk with Bb and Minnie, and it's a little bit easier now :)
Can't do anything useful so I shall sit/stand/walk around, in and out of the garden, read my book and look forward to watching Andy :)
Hope everyone enjoys the day

Morning all

Dear son locked us out of the house today while we were on the front porch putting shoes on. Next step was to go to he car, which was still in the garage. So we had nothing but the clothes on us and a (thankfully) double pushchair that lives by the front door. So we walked to kindy, only took about 3/4 of an hour, then used their phone to ring hubby (so he could contact another friend i was suppose to be meeting at 9:30) and friend who lives near kindy who has a spare key for our house. Then a lovely kindy mum who had a spare car seat took Oliver and I round to friends house then back to our house. Bless her.

Back to kindy to drop off sasha's bag and pick up the pushchair, then up to Albany mall to get the cover for my new phone, back to kindy for pickup, home, chinwag with the neighbours about the mornings events, then my friend I was supposed to be meeting in the morning came around.

Then I was cooking dinner and migraine came on, but I'm pleased the drugs the doctor gave me seem to be working. But I do hav a very strong hankering for chocolate brownie in a mug with ice cream.

Dads birthday tomorrow so I had better go and wrap his present instead.

Di hope your back is better soon

Thanks Weka :)
Glad the drugs work - but are you sure it's not the chocolate triggering the migraine? It's a very common one, but I'm sure you knew that :)
