I hope that fire is under control - I think those Chinese lanterns are a bit of a menace Jo teen boys can drive you bonkers! I often have to 'stand over' H at weekends to make sure he bathes/showers/cleans his teeth properly

I've been to Cheltenham for a dental hygenist appt and a fitting for my plate. The hygenist is a bit rough, she made me bleed a fair bit The plate feels really weird when it's in - I was lisping Apparently that is common until you get used to them........Final fitting in two weeks when it should be finished Becks came with me so we had a bit of a mooch afterwards......

Re the big fire....

They have CCTV evidence now that the big fire was definitely caused by a Chinese lantern.
I'm not surprised. I've been saying they should be banned ever since they first appeared.
It was plainly obvious that they are a danger. (You don't need a university degree to see that.)
Why hasn't those we pay to govern done something about it? If they didn't want to spend their
valuable time passing a new law, why not just apply the anti-litter law ? Sometimes I utterly
dispair at the sheer incompetence of our politicians.
