Oh, whoops

Postby tonicha » 30 Jun 2013, 21:03

Grumpy has been wearing the same  cut-offs for the last few days. Although I suggested I wash them and iron them quickly ( things dry in about half an hour at the mo :D  ) he declined  typical male

So this morning, I grabbed 'em - shoved 'em in the machine, having checked the pockets for hankies, bits of sand paper  , pencils and other stuff. (normal for a carpenter, apparently

Went up to get them in earlier and oooohh, what's this?

the blasted car key   :o

It is now a very clean car key - and was also a very hot   car key

He'd shoved it into one of those silly side pockets that I didn't even realise he had

Fortunately, the remote doesn't always work - well, it certainly won't now

Oh whooops indeed Ton - I take it you haven't tried it yet?
Hmmm, no, probably you've nonchalantly dropped it back in the thingy in the hall where the car key 'always goes' and so then can act completely innocent when it doesn't work ;) :D

Actually Di, I owned up :kick: :kick:

But blamed him

He should check his pockets - I don't normally, as I got fed up with finding all sorts of nasties when he was working

Oh I agree, it's an early lesson isn't it - if you don't empty your pockets it's your problem not my fault, definitely :)
