Jo yes, it says here that admission includes the village, waterfront, etc. The article in the local paper was keen to point out entry is free to this event thing, but it does look as if you'd still have to pay to get that far :?

I didn't know you have to pay to get into Clovelly either

Afternoon all - it started off as a pleasant enough day but the weather has been closing in and I reckon we will have rain this afternoon, although I can't see much of it on the radar. I've been to the physio this morning, I didn't realise that she could do some work on my arthritic toe, but she did and suggested I use arnica to keep it from swelling when I'm dancing. She also did ongoing work on my dodgy shoulder tendon, so I've had a good workover and am now enjoying a rest and a cuppa as she always recommends. After lunch I need to do some hoovering and a bit of ironing. Tonight it will be manicure and telly. Enjoy the rest of your day everyone :)

It does look lovely Di but I expect that there are other places which are equally as pretty.
I think for Clovelly it includes admission to a museum but I just want to go and have a walk around, I'm not bothered about going into a museum (years of going around them at break-neck speed with the boys knocked that love out of me  ). Port Isaac and Boscastle aren't too far though and all you have to pay for at those is parking and the obligatory bag of fudge

Hope the arnica will help Osc!
It's supposed to be brightening up here this afternoon but it's just gone very dark and the sky is so grey!

Afternoon all :D

Didn't make it here this morning, had a long phone chat with my sister in Oz and afterwards dealt with a client. Must admit I felt a bit sorry for her, my client that is, as I was running so late I didn't have time to put on any make up, not a pretty sight

Afterwards we popped down the road to M&S for a few bits. The meal deal was great, they're doing the rotisserie chicken again which is really yummy and great value. I bought two deals in the end (extra for the freezer) and saved over £16 on the usual price 8-)

Haven't been to Bucklers Hard for years Di, but remember how much we enjoyed our day. Does seems a bit much charging just to enter the village :o

Evening everyone :D :D

It was my last day at the stall today - I sold loads of stuff! Bit ironic really I guess ;)

It's been fine all day but the minute I left work it started to spit! Luckily it's not far to the bus and one was waiting at the stop when I got there 8-)

Becks has gone out with some friends so it's just me and 'im for dinner - I've got a load of cold chicken so am cooking chips and making salad to go with it.....yum :D

Fancy charging to let people into a village  :?
