wowzers...

Postby pollR78 » 28 Jun 2013, 15:25

I applied for a job the other week for when I qualify - had an interview yesterday and an hour later had a phone call offering me the post.

I cried!

The job is 'community vaccination team nurse' and it is a new team being brought together to carry out immunisations/vaccinations from babies up to elderly. Permanent and 25hours a week and wait for it - most probably going to be term time!

I am very much in shock and must say again, I am not saying on facebook for the moment for anyone who I am friends with there ;)

They hope to get the team started in August - and they know I have a holiday booked until 13th August - they are going to speak with HR and get me in as a band 2 (as i already am band 2 on staff bank) to do orientation/training and then as soon as my NMC registration is through I will be a proper real nurse with a job!

thrilled and still in shock Poll xxxxx

thank you all so much!

Yep Di, I honestly thought I was dreaming as she was telling me the shifts, no weekends, most of the school holidays off - I wanted to pinch myself!

Can't believe in 5 weeks I will have finished my 3 year course and have a degree and a job to go with it!! :D :D :D
