Goodness...........and they say we all speak English  We don't use any of those words at all, although I did recognise mardy. I'm trying to find equivalents although I can't think of any, and I say "baath".

Random comment, why did I feel fairly ok yesterday but today I feel totally knackered

Cause 'jet lag' is like that. I always found day 3 was the worst.

Hardly jet lag from a 45 minute flight though. Just basic tiredness I suppose and fighting a headache (and the headache is winning :( )

Is he? What's he done?

Just been on the phone to friend for nearly an hour - her bill :D
She phoned early this morning asking if one of us could go to her house along the coast. She'd been there briefly on Tuesday, with her friend who's in a wheelchair and because of the faff to get her in the car forgot to wash up their coffee cups and the friend's ashtray, and people are going tomorrow to stay in it. So I raced to do that before Bb had to leave for work.

I hadn't spoken to her for a while (we're like that) and she said she'd been away in May, so my first question was 'where did you fall over?' because she always does - often stairs.
This time was a bit more serious than usual though; she went down the stairs and hit her head on the pointy bit of the balustrade  Eight staples, and a bruise over her entire shoulders and back
She's ok now :)

Come on rain. Keep on coming. Get harder and faster and blacker.

I really, really don't want to take L to the sports thing this evening. 5.30pm to 7pm just for her to take part in the bloody skipping race.

Nightmare place to get to, nightmare place to park and then get out again at the end of it. The school won't win - we never do. We are crap at sports.

And it will make me late for picking up S to take her to cadets - Mick isn't going to make it home so I have to take her and fetch her back.

:x :x :x :x

Oooh that sounds nasty - glad she's okay now!

Di, he ignored me. Again! If it was just me it was happening to I'd be very paranoid but he's like it with everyone.
Once I saw him coming along the main road as I walked out of a side street with Billy, I waved and he waved back, he was on my side of the road. Then I saw him go sprinting along the path on the other side of the road, and then he crossed back over to my side when he was clear of me. Last week I was walking up from the gym. I glanced around but the sun was in my eyes but I could see that someone was walking quickly about 50 yards behind me. A few minutes later this person passed me and it was him. I said hello and got nothing. Today I was walking back from the gym again and I saw him walking towards me. His head was up and he was looking ahead. Then, he looked down and was still examining his shoes when he walked past me. Again I said hello and got nothing in return. There aren't even any earphone wires in evidence. Yet if you see him with his wife he's chatty. Oh, and a few weeks ago I was hanging the washing out on the line when I heard banging on a window. I eventually noticed it was their 5 year old son in one of the windows so I was waving to him and he was waving back to me, then I saw his Dad appear behind him, put his hands on his shoulders to turn him away from the window and then he disappeared.

Perhaps he thinks you fancy him and he only feels safe when he is with his wife.

Or maybe he thinks you are stalking him.............
