On this day, a year ago

I was sat in hospital waiting to have my lumpectomy and sentinal node biopsy.

How quickly a year goes by.

It does go fast doesn't it? It's how I got through the whole thing - look back to any one year and it's but a blink of an eye, however long it seems at the time.
