Morning all :D

Bright and sunny again 8-)

Expecting a client at 9.30. Planning to pop over and visit mother afterwards. Hopefully we'll be able to take her out for coffee and cake. No other plans for today.

Hope you all have a good day :D

I am rather jaded this morning!

Am currently at work after being up early to pick up the girls from my mums. When I got there my mum informed me that my mother in law forgot to pick L up from school yesterday and that the dog was not well!

Work for me all morning and then off to L's sports day this afternoon.

Early night tonight I think.

Morning :)
Lovely and sunny here today, so washing is whirring.
Glad everyone had such a good time, hope those who stayed have survived :)
Big ooops Debih - hope Millie's ok.

I have the car for a while so will be off into town I think, and later some gardening.
Have a good day all

Forgot to get L from school??!! What!!! Oh my gosh, was she ok?

Really shattered here today, was up every hour last night, thanks to little buddy. Took him to the doctor today and he now has antibiotics. He's only been in bed 2 hours, and has already woken upwards of 10 times. I dont think I'm getting much sleep tonight either. :?

Tomorrow I'm doing a baby sign language talk at a local playcentre, wish me luck.

Hope everyone who was at the meet yesterday wakes with not too foggy heads.

Are there any more pics?

Morning all, lovely day here :D
Off to the hospital in a bit to try out a different ear trumpet. I also want them to check my hearing in my good ear to put my mind at rest.
Have a good day everyone and I'll catch up properly later xxx

She was fine Weka, thankfully.

I am really cross about it. I asked my mum in law last week when I knew that Mick was working away. I arranged for them to stay at my mums overnight and as my mum doesn't drive I asked MIL to pick her up to take her to my mums. S was fine as she can walk to mums from her school.

L was at an after school running club so didn't need picking up until 4.45pm. Mick was at his mum and dads on Monday and her reminded them and I also rang them Monday evening to check that she was still okay to pick her up. My mum spoke to her about something on Tuesday morning and also reminded her.

Mum said it got to 5.15pm and my dad commented that he bet she had forgotten to go and fetch her. My mum just assumed that they were stuck in traffic. At 5.30 my mum rang my mum in law to see if she had taken L to their house for some reason and my FIL answered and said that they had completely forgotten about it and that the school had rung them when they realised that she was late - fortunately the school have both sets of grandparents numbers as emergency contacts.

And the reason they forgot - they were busy playing hidden object games on the computer.

Fortuantely this is the last time I should have to ask them to pick her up - I rarely ask anyway - probably four or five times over the whole time they have been at school. L only has four more weeks left at primary school and when she moves up to secondary it is within walking/bus distance of our house, my mums house and my in laws house.

Grrrr I would be furious, Debih

Well I was pretty shattered this morning, having been on the go for 21 hours yesterday  Finally crawled out of bed just before 9.30 very relieved that I have nothing special to do today. Feeling a bit better now that I've been up a while and have had my brekkie. It's a nice day and Mr. Osc has been cutting the hedges. Got a text from Miss Osc, the Irish Open golf is on this weekend and today is Pro-Am day, so they have taken Michael there for the day, they have already seen Rory McIlroy, and he was thrilled (Michael not Rory ;) ) Just about to hang out some washing then have my shower and do a few (gentle) bits. Hopefully we will go dancing tonight, depending on my energy levels. Honestly, you would think I was old or something, when I saw yesterday how sprightly Aggers and Kate are, I should be ashamed of myself for being a wimp

Have a good day everyone :)

Good afternoon all!

It's warm but cloudy here. Joe's off from school, he's been sick in the night but seems okay now. Tom's been to the shops to pick up some application forms for jobs, he wants something to do during the holidays and to hopefully carry on with at weekends once he starts in 6th form in September. And I've been to the shops to buy yet more food  This was after taking Billy for a long early morning walk though. Glad we went when we did as it became really muggy not long after.
Just waiting for some washing to dry and then I'll be earning another gold star :P

Deb, you were worried as well that the running club would be cancelled and L would be waiting for MIL to get her. Fancy totally forgetting her though!!

Have a good day everyone!
