One of the Bossettes is back

Postby miasmum » 21 Jun 2013, 11:22

The other is someway between Birmingham and Nottingham.

We had a lovely, lovely time and Ally is the nicest, most generous person and I am so glad I am seeing her again on Tuesday.

Bruce was brilliant, three and half hours he played non stop. We shouted ourselves hoarse, danced our feet off and got locked in Coventry bus station, now that was scary.

I was amazed how little of his stuff I knew, I really am a greatest hits type person with him. But he played The River and as I have waited 35 years to hear that live I was very very happy. He did the old faves like Hungry Heart, Born to Run, Dancing in the Dark but apart from those I only knew about three others. I am going to try and find a playlist from last night as there were some I would love to download onto my ipod

Right no doubt Ally will check in when she can

So pleased you had a fabulous time Shell.

I wonder what the other Brucie Babe is up to? Will look forward to her report too.

Sounds brilliant, Shell! I would be a greatest hits kind of person where Bruce is concerned too, but found a fab fab album that I downloaded, The Dublin Sessions I think it's called - a concert I fervently wish I had been at. I actually found the playlist from last night online, so I know he sang this one, from that album. It's an Americana album, brilliant. Hope you got some decent pics (of the two of you, never mind Brucie!!)

Here's the playlist :D

yep I liked that one. He does a lot of what I refer to as diddly diddly music which was great fun

So glad you both had a brilliant time!! The presenter on the radio this morning had been and was raving about it!
Here's a setlist but people do make edits on them in the early days, as and when they think of songs that were played.

Lol one of our radio presenters went too, I think he's been to see Bruce about 20 times :)
He had the morning off :)

My s/sister's son is a sound engineer and while he was working for the Script he posted a joke playlist on facebook, and got about 3,000 likes :D
I'll see if I can find it...
