Morning all. Looks like it could be a nice day today - although I believe it is all set to change tomorrow!

Off to school shortly to be around for the barrage of moaning parents I am expecting to descend - we sent two letters out yesterday. One about the change in government regulations to term time holidays and one with a revised uniform list (we have a huge uniform problem at our school. Not the children but the parents who don't like putting their children in uniform. Very double standards from most of them as the biggest problem parents have one child at our school who they don't put in uniform and one child at another school - either secondary or primary - where they always wear full uniform. I don't understand the logic). Maybe it won't be as bad as I am expecting - but I am not intending on taking any flack. The uniform letter clearly states for them to put any queries in writing to the governors.

Then into town to the library before work.

Then back to school again this afternoon for my weekly meeting with the head.

It's been a fairly good day today, all things considered. Missey was nicely behaved after kindy today, first time since the move to morning kindy. Got more hippy work for her today too, looks like we get to make paper airplanes and cookies.

Oliver though was so grizzly and grumpy he was sent to bed for an afternoon nap.

I'm just patiently sitting beside the heater waiting for hubby to fly home.

Busy this morning with clients, but nothing else planned. It's lovely and sunny here right now so we really should have a go at the garden. The grass definitely needs cutting and I'm sure we'll find a few weeds lurking between the shrubs.

Morning Debih..morning all.

Very mild here.

I left about 6.45 to go for a run.

Jackie lives really near the airport but it's amazingly green and fieldy.

I ran all the way round the airport, fantastic views of planes taking off and then sat for a couple of minutes with two hoochers who offered me a swig of whisky from their flask!
I declined..can't stand the stuff.

I came back around 8, made myself a coffee and toast and sat on the patio with my book.

Visiting Joan this morning, meeting a friend for lunch and dinner with Judi tonight.

Well I was going out with my MIL today but she cried off last night so I will be getting on with 'stuff' Housework is piling up, washing needs doing, I need to do my roots (amazingly, I am not a natural blonde ) so there is plenty to keep me out of mischief.........I just need to summon the enthusiasm to get on with it

Slightly cooler today, which is pleasant, but still lovely and hot and windy

Off to Tavira and then onto Cabanas later, to hopefully find where Grumpy's friend will be staying. There's an English food shop there too, so I'll probably have mooch - poppadoms and curry stuff being on my hit list

Kaz, before I moved, I'd had my hair highlighted for years, so my hairdresser (also a very good friend) managed to dye it in such a way that the growing out wasn't too obvious and now it's all natural - wish I could bottle it - it's sort of grey ish brownish, silver ish blonde ish

Been doing stuff on the internet and a few other bits, plus a chat with the town planner handling our planning application.
