Morning
Picked up the rest of my beef today. 40 mins drive there, 1.5 hours back. with 2 tired fed up kids in the backseat.
Sunny today, when we were supposed to be having thunderstorms. Guess tomorrow will be horrible. South Island is bracing for worst snow fall in 20 years...

Morning all :D

Wet and miserable here :(

Popping over to see mother this morning and hopefully take her out for coffee and cake. Also need her to sign a birthday card for her best friend Gladys who will be 100 tomorrow. Mother's been soooo much better for the last few weeks since they discontinued the aricept so after a bit of a tussle I got them to stop the risperidone at the end of last week......fingers crossed that doesn't bite me on the bum today.

Afterwards we're off to the cinema to see the new superman film Man of Steel, very excited :D

Had a phone call from my brother who arrived in the UK from Oz on Sunday. He and his wife plus baby are planning to relocate here for 5yrs, well if he's successful getting a job that is. My father never took Australian citizenship so he and my sister Alison have dual passports, but he did have to arrange visa's for his wife (she's Chinese) and the baby. They don't arrive til sometime in July. He's taken 3 months leave from his job back home, he's an IT expert so doesn't expect too much trouble, but if it all comes to nothing he's still got a good position to go back to. Mind you I couldn't understand swapping Oz for our miserable weather, but he says they'd like to see a lot of Europe, much easier and cheaper from here than Oz. Also as he says, better to do it now before E reaches school age and they have to decide where they want him educated. He's got an interview tomorrow and depending on that and anything the agent comes up with he's hoping to spend a few days with us sometime next week.

Hope you all have a good day :D

Morning :)
Sorry I'm late, had to go to the dentist; a check-up but I have that broken tooth  They couldn't fit me in any earlier, and couldn't allow extra time for it today, so I have to go back on July 3rd for that.
Dull here but steamy, nice to have the doors and windows open though.

Good news about your mother Jen, sometimes the professionals don't know best do they ;)
Nice for you about your brother too, and it sounds a good plan for them to be able to see as much as they can of Europe, then they can decide where they'd like to settle.
Hope everyone's having a good day

Good morning all, it was gorgeous here earlier, but is gradually clouding over now :( I have two lots of washing out on the line, and plenty of other stuff to do, although I'm still not completely recovered from our weekend away (takes longer at my age ;) ). Mr. Osc has gone to play golf and before he went out he was busy organising photos and videos from the weekend to put on our forum, plus people are asking him for individual photos from the comp on Sunday, so he has lots more to do when he gets home.

One thing on my schedule today is trying on the outfit I may wear in Birmingham this day next week - now am I sad or what   Can't believe it's coming around so quickly, I got my flight advisory from Ryanair this morning! Have a good day today everyone :)
