Afternoon all!!

It was lovely first thing, albeit rather windy, but is going very grey now. It's warm though! I took Billy for a long walk earlier before coming home to make a red velvet cake which just needs the frosting putting on now. We'll have some of that for pudding later, after we've been to the Indian restaurant in the village for John's Father's Day treat.
He's just called me actually to say he'll be home in a couple of hours. He's been away since Friday, at a cycling event in Kaz's neck of the woods, at Gatcombe Park. He entered as part of a team and they were taking it in turns to do laps, with 6 hours rest breaks in between - he was waiting to go out for his next lap which was scheduled for 2AM. Total madness.
I'm bracing myself for the washing he'll bring home. It's bad enough when he's been out on the Chase on a Sunday morning

He's been away since Friday, at a cycling event in Kaz's neck of the woods, at Gatcombe Park.

I thought I had posted on here this morning but obviously not!

I have been and fetched the last of my stuff from the inlaws garage and am busy putting it back on shelves. I have of course lost something vital - I know the picture hooks went in one of the boxes but they don't appear to have come back out again!!! Picture hanging another day then!

S has gone off to a party and L was at her choir practice this morning and has gone out to play with friends this afternoon. She was supposed to be making a toblerone tart for Mick but I have ended up doing it. I managed to restrain myself from spitting in it (remember Mothers Day ).

hi everyone

Busy day here, we got up early and went into Edinburgh, done the Race for Life we were very lucky that the sun shone the whole time, was fab! I will post a pic or two on the photo board, we have so far raised £220 which is amazing!

Home now and have had a shower so chilling out, am very tired, might have a wee 40 winks on the couch while Amy is out playing with her friend
