Putting stuff back in

We need a toaster, Mick, Becks and H love toast and this one adjusts so it does crumpets and teacakes as well. I did wonder if the kettle was the same as yours when I bought it

Almost everything is back in now. The window sill still needs painting - that's Mick's job for tomorrow night. Then the blind can go back up (a wooden slatted blind) and last of all the pictures and mirror over the fire can go back - we found the picture hooks at last!!! Oh and the speakers - it is linked in to the stereo in the lounge and the speakers go right at the top of the built in cupboards.

I forgot to take any before photos but here is one I took for some reason of the fireplace that shoes the colour it was before. The stuff in the fireplace is L's art box. We are moving that into the pantry once the pantry has been done!



Photos of it stuff going back on and then finished. I have been restrained with my cookery books and only put a few back. The rest are still packed away and will go on shelves in the pantry when that is done.











And finally Millie looking miserable. She is a miserable little dog! And she hates change!!!

Maybe its because you are secretly Princess Anne and Millie does look very fox like some times. She's perhaps afraid you'll be hunting her down.

It's just a magnolia silk emulsion.

I can't remember what the colour above the picture rail was called - it was from B&Q and is a chocolate brown sort of colour.

I am wanting to do the lounge the same - magnolia walls and then a contrast colour above the picture rail. I would like to do it the same brown as we have loads of that paint left but Mick will want it a different colour. We have lots of brown and green furniture in the lounge.

I would like to get another cover for the chair. I thought I would be able to clean up the original chair (it is lemon under that blue cover) but the cats scratched it really badly. I will have to go to Ikea to see what colour choice they have for it.

Oh and we still need a door. We have a pine door that will fit that a neighbour removed from their house. It needs dipping though - that is Micks job to go and get it dipped. I wonder how long I will be waiting.................

We don't have a door from the dining room to the kitchen as there is a step and when we did have a door there it was just open all the time, sticking out into the dining room. Really annoying.

Light shades are back on the wall lights since I took the photos too.

We once had a house with a step from dining room down to kitchen, Mick removed the door as it was just a nuisance It's really coming on now Debih, hope you don't have to wait TOO long for the dipped door
