Meriad I once met Antonio Carluccio on my then local dog walk, he was there mushroom hunting :)

We are very lucky in that respect. We alternate between a few places, and I'm quite often am able to bring home food for lunch / dinner the next day(s). But Carluccio's is definitely one of my favourites.

Did you stop and talk to him Di? Having seen a few cooking programmes of his he seems quite down to earth. I love that one of the programmes he has his dog in his kitchen (at home) with him... just a normal bloke :D

Don will be back out with them next Friday..whereas I'll be stuffing my face at Marco Pierre White's in Nottingham.

I was once walking Max down by the canal when a runner got all tangled up in the lead. It all ended amicably, and untangled, off he went.

It was only later that I realised that..........

I had no clue as to who he was. :o

Oh yes meriad, he was really friendly, and of course I was interested in his mushrooms :D
He said he'd be there for the next 2 or 3 weeks and I was welcome to meet him to go searching; unfortunately for at least the next 3 Saturdays it rained solidly so it never happened :)
