Maybe then it's your body's way of releasing the stress leading up to it. I find I seem to get sick "after the event" if I've been really busy and a bit stressed leading up to it. For me I think it's my body's way of making me stop and relax and recover.
Take care of yourself

((((Shell)))) I agree with those who have said dehydration and the throat tube are probably why you feel a bit rough. Lots of fluids and lots of rest xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

I don't think its the throat tube, as that would have hurt sooner and this came on during the night. It doesn't feel like last time when my throat felt scratched this feels sort of lumpy.

Do you have sorbet (not ice cream) at home? If yes, see how you get on with that... the chill will soothe the throat and it will to some extent rehydrate you as well.

Hope you get a good nights sleep tonight and that tomorrow is a much brighter day for you xxx

Only just seen, MM so glad the op went ok and the tummy kick soon wears off, expect it was the tube caused your throat and presume you had a general. Often happens and will soon wear off too. Vibes for Like as well.xx

Glad to hear Luke is discharged and you are off to the docs, sounds like a wee infection brewing, you take it easy, plenty fluids, pain relief and rest!
