Thank you all

I feel like I have been kicked in the tummy but not too bad. I seem to have developed a really sore throat too and feel a bit hot and out of sorts, presumably from the throat.

Luke is on a ward and slept well. They want to keep him in and monitor him during the day, so Tim is popping home to get some sleep and Chris and James will stay with him.

Thank you again for all your concern xxx

Glad the night went ok Mm.

Please have lots and lots to drink, it's very easy to be dehydrated after the not eating/drinking then an operation, which can leave you feeling quite ill xx

Pleased to see you online this morning MM. I can go to bed now knowing that you and Luke are ok and recovering. Definitely plenty of water, and maybe some vit c just in case you have picked up something. But dehydration can feel a bit like that. Did they put any tubes in your throat at all for the op? Maybe that has caused it? Hope you feel better as the day goes on. It's over with now, must feel like a weight off your shoulders.

Thats a nice thing to say Weka :D

Yes they did put a tube down my throat but I would have expected my throat to be sore as soon as I woke up, whereas this has come on during the night
