Good morning Wednesday

Super busy one for me today.
Kindy drop off, doctors then bathroom place to pick up my new hideously expensive skew pan toilet. I had a choice of 1, so that's the one we got.
Then at 10 am, we had our hippy group meeting, (no, no tie die, sandals or braids... It's the worksheets sasha's been doing and loving.) it was held at onepoto school, and then we got told an rnzaf helicopter was landing in the school fields at 11:45! Kindy finishes at 11:30, so I decided to pick her up early and head back to see it.
The 12:30 the man came about our leaky shower, (we are back to showering downstairs now apparently till its fixed ) then 2:30 the electrician came.

Busy busy.

We've just had pasta with home grown spinach and silberbeet. I slipped in a deserved chilli, but the kids noticed.

Even got some washing dry on the line.


Council man says he won't trim the council tree to give us more light, but there may be some rot in he crown which will need cutting out while therefore will give us what we want, Fingers crossed then that the beautiful tree has some (but not lots) of rot.

Morning all. Summer appears to have ended here and we are back to cold, dark and wet this morning.

Work for me - meetings all morning - then I need to nip into town. Usual weekly meeting with head at 3.30pm and then home to make dinner before putting my chauffers hat on to take L and her friends to Guides. Fortunately I don't have to bring them back again so a nice hot bubble bath has my name on.

Mick is away in Scotland tonight. He went to Windsor on Monday, drove back yesterday and is now driving up to Scotland to drive back again tomorrow.

If anything the weather is even worse today
Rain, very very windy and cold
Happy Birthday to my grandaughter 23 today and also
to my niece
I am beginning to start worrying now as i am having
my cataract op on Saturday and i am a bit of a wimp

Just read online that there is a huge fire just a mile up
the road at the commercial laundry--roads are closed and
we are asked to keep windows and doors closed as this wind
is blowing the smoke everywhere.
Luckily it is right opposite the fire station.
