Morning all

Postby Lozzles » 10 Jun 2013, 06:24

I'm first up as I had to get hubby off this morning. We only got back from Torquay last night, but he's off to Vancouver now for a week.
We had a good time, but not brilliant. The hearing side of things was a pain as I thought it would be, even with my new hearing aid. Yesterday afternoon we had a lesson and some guy ground his heel into my big toe, so that is now all bruised and sore. A couple of our friends went along to for the weekend, so that was nice.
Fortunately the weather was great, so we managed to leave the hotel for a walk along the harbour and eat chips :D
Hope everyone is doing okay and that you all have a good day today xxx

Morning everyone :)

Loz it sounds like the weekend was a bit of a mixed bag, but I'm glad there were enjoyable bits :) That sounds a quick turnaround to get D out to Canada, you must be very organised :D (((((((((x)))))))))))

Ally, you'll be glad to see him! :D xxxx

Well I'm around early as I have to get to Cheltenham fairly early to start some dental treatment - x rays today  Still Cheltenham is a lovely place for a mooch so I shan't hurry home ;) Work tomorrow so I'll be making the most of my day off ;)

Have a good Monday everyone :) :) xxx

Morning :)
The nice weather seems to have well and truly deserted us now, it's very dull although not too cold.
I was up and at it early too, Bb had to get off and it's a fast day so I had to get my head in gear counting calories for his packed lunch :D
The new barbecue was a huge success, last night's diner was scrummy :)

Sorry your weekend wasn't as good as you'd hoped Loz, and sorry about your poor toe too, what an eejit
Kaz at least x-rays don't hurt :) Cheltenham is nice, enjoy your wander.
Ton and Ally, could you work on shunting that sunshine please? We'll let you keep some ;)
Lots and lots of h-word and other stuff for me today
Hope today's ok for everyone

Morning all :D

Glad the weather was lovely in Torquay loz, hope your toe isn't too sore xxx

Good luck at the dentist kaz, you'll deserve a nice mooch round Cheltenham to recover x

Hope Don's flight is on time Ally.

Nothing much planned for today, a couple of clients later and that's about it.

Hope you all have a good day :D

Morning everyone, missy to the doctor today, aparantely they don't give antibiotics to kids for ear infections anymore, and of the eardrum is looking like its going to burst, then they nick the ear drum to let the fluid out!

Thankfully hers doesn't look that bad.
Hwork today mostly apart from that.

Morning all, it's lovely and sunny here, but the breeze has a bit of a nip in it and we are forecast wet stuff later on :( My cousin is coming from England today to stay until Thursday, so I have lots to do, seeing as I've done practically no housework for the duration of the fab weather  Have a batch of scones in the oven, the washing is out, Mr. Osc has lamb shanks in the slow cooker for tonight's dinner, I need to prepare potatoes and veg and set the table. (I asked my sister for dinner so she could see our cousin, and she vaguely moaned about the menu not being very summery   ) Not doing dessert as cousin is doing Weightwatchers and Mr. Osc and myself are trying to trim off a few lbs (sis moaned about no dessert too  ) but I might get some strawberries.

Mr. Osc has just gone out to play golf, I need to vacuum and generally tidy up around the place. Loz, a large group of Irish ballroom dancers just returned from the English Riviera Dance Festival in Torquay last Friday, hope they left the place as they found it! Glad you had a good time, if not a great time. Have a good day everyone :)
