I wouldn't have the time to twitter, even if I wanted to - which I don't, as I have so many interests in my life.

For people with lots of time on their hands, it is, no doubt, a pleasant way of passing the time, but I think many
people who are paid to do a job waste too much time twittering when they should be working,

What really put me off Twitter was when I went on our local Police website for some information, and was told
that if I wanted to send them a message I must use Twitter !!!! I was disgusted. What's the world coming to?

When viewing on TV a debate in Parliament, I sometimes find myself looking at the MPs in the background, and often
see some of them 'playing' with their smart-phones - Twittering, no doubt, (if they're not asleep). The trouble is, in my
opinion, that there is not enough discipline today - anywhere.

I just don't get this TwitBook thing.

If you aren't a member of one or the other you are excluded, a pariah, not one of the 'in' crowd.

This part was a general observation, it wasn't about me or anyone else in particular... It's like a group deciding to meet in a pub, but because one finishes later than the others some of them go to a cafe first. However, when they get to the pub the cafe conversation continues and the one in the pub is playing gooseberry catch-up. It happens, you all know it does.

If you use either, that's fine, but please keep your posts, and references to them, there.
