lillys mum got a new one friday a hoover

Saundra this new one is a Beko, but has several quick washes, one of only 14 minutes which will be brilliant for delicates and another of 38 minutes for a main wash. My LG's quickest wash is 90 minutes and that's a wool cycle for delicates!!  The main 40 degree cycle, the one I need to use for most things, is over 2 hours!! You had to get the wash in really early to get it on the line before lunchtime or else do it overnight ready to go out first thing - It's a pain and I'm glad to be rid of it really ;)

Morning :)
Cloudy sunshine here, it's up there somewhere :D Lissie I really hope you join in with the lovely sunny stuff soon, otherwise you'd best move :D

Kaz that washer did you a favour really didn't it :) The standard 40-degree wash on this one is 70 mins, the quick wash is half an hour so if I don't get it in as early as planned I just give it the quick one. Tbh it washes just as well, but you're supposed to use liquid for that, and it's not so good for the machine so after a few quick washes I make sure I do towels on a hotter wash :)

Just been in the garden admiring all the work I got done out there yesterday, am aching a bit now :) There's still quite a bit to do, I'm definitely a fair-weather gardener so it had been neglected!
Enjoy the allotment Debih :)
Have a good day all

Sounds like my washer, normal cycle is 2.5 hours. Fast wash 40 mins. A plain old spin is 20 mins!

School meeting went good. According to their check boxes, she's more than ready, yet still has to wait another year. but I've going really good information for heading her in the same direction they will ate her and the methods they use so we can begin that at home so when she gets to school she won't have to relearn a whole pile of things.

Morning all, it's another glorious day here - I spent yesterday on two medical visits, one to the gynae and one to the vascular clinic for a scan of the veins in my arms and hands. However, did get home in time to spend a little time sitting in the sun. Michael is here today and we've been in and out of the garden since 9am. I'm doing a few bits and pieces in the house too and may spend some time sitting reading in the sun later on (if a small boy allows ;) ) Miss Osc is collecting Michael around 5pm, and then we have a dance class tonight followed by a social. Have a good day everyone, and get out in the sun if you can Image

Afternoon all, it's been dull and cooler all day today. That suited me though as I had to do some shopping this morning and it's a long uphill walk home

Joe's come home from school feeling unwell, has since been sick and is now asleep in the chair. Fingers crossed that Tom doesn't get it if it's a bug seeing as he's doing his GCSEs at the moment :?

Oh heck, poor Joe :( The best way to keep Tom from catching it is to make him keep washing his hands, and get one of those Dettol sprays for the doorknobs and taps......
