And we're back

Postby tonicha » 05 Jun 2013, 12:47

Hope you've all been good for the last couple of days

Been gorgeous here, quite warm up there  8-) and very very dusty. We went places normal cars shouldn't really go  and the car is now a fetching shade of sand, rather than dark blue

The one house we really like was built by the builder we know - although he's been a very naughty boy on lots of occasions, apparently. We've heard from real horror stories of malpractice etc  but this house is now all legal. Phew.

Met some lovely lovely people, learnt lots of stuff too.

Bought 6 large cheeses at the market this morning - they are gorgeous :D so will be eating them for the next few weeks

Hopefully, Grumpy will be taking me out to dinner tonight - we only have tins of stuff in the house, nothing fresh.

Oh, and the first house we saw was disgustingly filthy  :o  So much so, it reminded me of a student house, after they'd left it for a month - but there were people living there

Thank you xx

I know I could use the hotels computer, but we were out really early in the morning, not getting back until late - gagging for a beer  preferably cold - the water I bought in the shop early in the morning was almost hot enough to boil and egg by the end of the day

Hiya Ton, lovely to have you back :D :D

Sounds like you had good and interesting time 8-) Some people are such mucky pups, aren't they? We've moved a few times in the last ten years, and the differing standards in the many houses we've viewed have never ceased to amaze me  :? Sorry if TMI but I've seen bathrooms where they hadn't even bothered to flush the loo  :|

I've moved not some shockers too. And I'm still grateful that the last move wasn't one of them. I just can't understand how people can live like that

Did you see anything that you really liked?
