I lived in West London for a few years but Notting Hill was well grotty then - I'm talking 1976-79 though :oops: :roll: :lol: Gawd I'm old :roll: :lol: :lol:

I have never heard of the Hummingbird bakery, but it sounds good

Glad you had a good weekend and so pleased Green Day were good and you got the seats you wanted.

Snap!! We lived in Shepherds Bush just off Holland Road (used to call it West Ken, sounded posher ;) ) and we lived there earlier in the '70s, so I'm even older :lol: :lol: but yes, Notting Hill was pretty grotty!

We love London although I would hate to live there now - still need a visit there every few years though :D

We lived just off Ealing Broadway but worked in the big DHSS building in Acton :)

I couldn't live or work there now - my niece does and loves it, but then she's young :lol:
