Morning all
Productive day here, and it's a long weekend here so hopefully another 2 days of productivity.

Got the leak in the roof fixed today, so now we can crack on with doing the toilet, as the leak now means the ceiling needs replacing. On the silver lining though, I get planning permission from his nibs without having to ask, to redo the entire toilet. Off shopping tomorrow to go looking at vanities. No point leaving the peach coloured one in.

Saw a pic on the Internet last night of a cupboard that had been repurposed into a shoe/mud room, so started converting our cupboard near the garage into that as we seem to get quite a pile if stuff right at that door. Apart from the blue interior and the varnished chipboard shelves, it's looking ok. We will leave it that way for a few months to see if it works before we go changing things too much.

Hubby put up some wiring in the garage and swimming lessons in the morning, so all in all a good day. Hope the swimming doesn't make the kids cough come back.

Weka at one of my houses we had a cloakroom/boot room near the door, it was brilliant, hooks for thick jackets and coats, and a shelf near the floor all round for boots etc. Plus a little basin to wash the mud off
