.... yet he is acting like some latter day Brady and Hindley in not revealing what he did with poor April's body.

I wouldn't allow him that option. I would let him go through a Clockwork Orange session every day of his miserable existence until he revealed the exact spot.

After April's body had been recovered I would place a phial and an hypodermic syringe on his bedside table and remind him, every day, that he was never to be let free.

People like Bridger are the reason why I support the death penalty. Because some people commit crimes so awful that they forfeit their own right to life.
That said I don't think he will reveal where her body is. He hasn't so far. Hasn't shown the slightest bit of remorse for what he did, just shown himself up to be a useless inadequate full of self pity. He always seemed to be "in tears" in the courtroom. Pity he wasn't really given something to cry about.

Exactly Ollie why should we pay all that to keep the creature in jail till he dies. A noose and a stool in his cell would be a good idea too, still think though that burning at the stake would be better. I think it most probable that he has destroyed the body.

Right now they only suspect what he has done. If he admits where the body is, they will know.

He's going to prison for a long time anyway, if he doesn't let them know where the body is, then he is only guilty of murder. His life in prison could be much worse if they find out other things...

I really don't think there is a body to be found quite honestly. Did you read that he worked for a few years in an abbatoir and they said his skills at carving up sheep and beheading them were phenomenal.

I believe that he simply chopped her up. They found fragments of her skull in the fireplace didn't they.

He can't tell them where she is because he doesn't want to admit that he just chopped her up and burnt what he could.

It must be awful for them knowing their child is dead and they cant even have a funeral for her. I know their grief will always be there but it could definitely be lessened slightly, and give them some peace, if only they could have their daughter "back" to lay to rest.

It's the most awful thing you can think of to have a child murdered, but to be pretty sure there is no actual body left is just beyond imagining. Probably even he knows it's just too bad to be told.
