Dora the explorer...

Postby Ally » 31 May 2013, 12:34

...has explored!!

I walked right at the port and just kept walking till the promenade ended. :o

There was some rufty tufty scrubland so that got tackled.

Back onto the sand and carried on walking till hunger, thirst and a need for more sun factor made me stop.

It was then I noticed how far I'd come...almost to the edge of the airport base! :o :o

I really need to concentrate more.

Had me butty and drink and set off back.

Popped into Parque del Oeste for a walk round and a look at the emus. :D

At the bus station I bought a 1.5 litre bottle of water which I drank in about 1 minute...it's a hot day.

And I've walked 24kms.

Don is making dinner tonight..he doesn't know it yet as he's still at the ITV place with the car.

You're going to end up strolling along the runway one day

The thread title made me laugh actually. When we were at Universal in Hollywood years ago the Dora The Explorer character chased Joe, he was 7 or 8 at the time and was mortified. We daren't mention the name Dora in the house to this day

And here was I thinking that you were going to tell me that backpack was carrying the map, and map jumped out when Dora said "who do we ask when we don't know which way to go? Map!" And map told you that to get to the bus station, you had to go across the promenade, through the scrubland, over the sand and thats how we get to the bus station. but that swiper the fox swiped the butty mid route cause you were too slow in saying swiper no swiping, swiper no swiping, swiper no swiping. So then you had to venture to the edge of the air base to get it back before you could find your way to the bus station. Yay we did it, we found our way to the bus station and I could have done I without your help! What was your favorite part...................... Mine too!

No?

Oh, that's just my wold then.
