So bored.......what you all doing

Tim is decorating. So I thought it would be nice to have a day of no plans, nothing to do, but boy am I bored. If the weather was nicer maybe I could sit in the garden and read my book, but its not really warm enough. So I am wandering around, a few minutes on here, a few pages of my book, a wander round the garden.

I never, ever have a day with no plans and now I know why. I love my own company but not all day. Actually my step sister didn't leave until 1, so its only been 3.5 hours, proves how bored I am

Now I have a load of whites in the wash.

Pointless will be on in a few mins, and I might make something to eat after it finishes..... if I can be bothered!

We had plans for doing nothing much, which turned into "Oh it's so sunny, let's go down to the Docks, look at the ships again, and have a bit of lunch" then "Let's pop round mum's to clear out the greenhouse ready for our salad veggies" then "Mum can we borrow your jetwash to clean our decking and patio?" Followed by me thinking I might as well boil the eggs for my packed lunch tomorrow, prep some salad etc, etc.........

So nothing turned out quite busy, in the end

It has been lovely, as was yesterday and Saturday. We've had a great weekend, with great weather. Unexpectedly, as I was sure the weather would let us down, so all the better for it

Not a bank holiday here. We just got back from our weekend in Cobh yesterday evening and then I was up early enough this morning as I was bringing my friend E to see Miss Osc. You may remember that E's partner died just before Christmas, she lives in Spain and was home for a wedding, and she wanted to make a new will - she phoned me last week and asked if Miss Osc would do it. We had already arranged to meet for lunch today so I said I would collect her early, bring her to Miss Osc's office to do her business, and then we could have lunch, so that's what I did. Was home about 4.15pm, did a little shopping locally (glad I don't do that too often, it's so expensive ), read the paper and we had our dinner, took bol sauce out of the freezer last night so obviously it was spag bol. Just about to have a yogurt and a cuppa green tea - totally overindulged over the weekend, so back to the straight and narrow!!

aw nothing worse than being bored

I have however, been at work today - no holiday for us in Scotland I was working with the treatment room nurse today so got to see lots and done some wound care, injections and blood pressure.....also got mine checked as mentioned it had been a little high the last time my GP done it, it was quite high and the nurse urged me to make a GP appointment - must do that as my GP keeps fobbing me off.

That was my morning, then in the afternoon I went back to the District Nurses office and went out to see a patient on my own and done wound care on a massive wound from an amputation - wowzers!! i LOVE wounds!!

I have a bit of a head cold and feel pretty rubbish, actually fell asleep for half an hour at 7pm which is not like me!
