Hi Saundra,
Normally I would say just download the Kindle app and manage it from there, or your amazon account which manages what is on the device.
However, it did tweak my interest so I had a play with the interface on the kindle, something I don't normally do because I use Calibre to manage my Kindle.
First of all it depends on the device and how you navigate it. I have the Kinde 3G with the keyboard. It has a square navigation pad on it with an OK button in the middle. I've never really played with it except to navigate books.
So what I found was,
On bookmarks
Press left, deletes
Press right edits
on books.
If you are in a collection,
Press left removes it from the collection,
Press right enters the book
If it is not in a collection and is just on the home menu
Press Left deletes
Press right enters the book
For collections the action is the same, if you are in the home,
Press left removes the collection
Press right enters the collection.
How it works with kindles without a keyboard I don't know, but I'd guess that whatever navigation keys you have work in the same way, just different keys.
Doing it on Amazon of the PC and syncing the changes is WAY the best way IMHO....
