Our little road...

is just 9 small-to-average sized houses. A couple of weeks ago we got an envelope through the door, as we have each year, from number two, collecting for Marie Curie nurses.

Today they delivered a note saying our road had donated £53. That's an awful lot for our little road isn't it
I have to say, that would mean each of us donated well over £5 each, and we didn't, so some have been very generous.
Always knew we had really nice neighbours

Of course if people give on a regular basis,monthly or whatever, it would end up being more, but it's still quite a lot as a one-off I think
