Just done the vacuuming

Postby Weka » 07 Dec 2012, 08:36

Finally got the keys to our new home today, that was a bit of a drama.
So I pulled out the vacuum in the new place, and started. An hour and a half later I finished. :? And I wasn't exactly going slow!

Thanks everyone
Tomorrow the carpets get their stretching.
I'm very thankful that they have left the house very clean. :D :D very very very thankful. Last two shifts have been into incredibly dirty houses. This time I should only need to wipe all surfaces down and that should be it. We have set off flea bombs tonight just in case. Don't want any creepy crawly friends

The whole house need DIY, but nothing I can't live with for awhile, so one room at a time every couple of years. Probably starting with the bathroom. Groan. But at least there is another to use.

This place was also spotless - it makes a big difference doesn't it? Like you Weka I've moved into dirty places and it's horrid :?

With acres of floor space you'll either need a daily help, or to teach one of the kids that the hoover is a great new toy to play with.............. :P ;)
