At 87 I suppose HM cannot possibly respond personally to every request, there are so very many tragic circumstances out there

It's always nice to see celebrities doing kind things when so many of them are so self-important and don't realise that it's the public who put them where they are. Dame Helen is one of my favourite actors and I'm not surprised to hear she has such a kind side. Johnny Depp is another who dons his Captain Jack outfit to visit a sick child.
