Good morning Monday

Postby Ally » 23 Jun 2025, 06:07

Good morning.

On Saturday morning we went to see the new house.
As it was forecast nudging 45° inland where we are we thought it would be a super idea to book into a hotel over there so we did.
We've enjoyed two days by the coast and coming home later today to furnace land again.

As it's going to be in the 40s next week we've booked to go away again.

A day in the pool beckons. :D

Have a great day.

Morning everyone

Cloudy this morning and a little cooler.

I had a lie-in  :Hi: As I'm normally up at 6.00 ( at the latest) I woke up as normal, looked at the sky and thought sod it. And went back to sleep  I had a warm back, as Molly was keeping me company.

I'll have a coffee, then head out and do the new plant watering and spraying of the weeds. Cooked breakfast (all leftovers) and then we'll re-pot at least two of the plants in the new pots. I might have to go and get some more compost. And maybe one more pot

Meeting a friend from England down at the bar later. He's brought some photo's of Mitchell and his daughters, should be interesting.

Have a good day everyone, whatever you're doing xx

Morning all :D

Hot 8-)

Ally, how exciting, would love to see your new house.
Cruiser hope the ultrasound goes well.
Jan enjoy time with your friend from England.

Up early as I have an appointment with the urogynae nurse at the hospital.

Not sure what we'll be doing for the rest of the day, depends how I'm feeling. If I'm too sore I'll probably laze in the garden this afternoon.

Hope you all have a good day xx

Morning all, sunny, cloudy and windy here and a bit cooler. On our way home on Friday, the tyre pressure warning light was on the whole way, so I’ve been to have them checked, the guy said he had quite a few people in today with the same thing. I had another virtually sleepless night feeling absolutely rubbish so I managed to get a doc appointment for 11.45 and am sitting in the car filling in the time. Michael sent me some lovely photos from their holiday, they get back this evening. We are supposed to be going out so Edward can buy a new phone today but I’m not going if I don’t feel up to it. He has this attitude that if I say I’m not well, he just assumes that I’m exaggerating and I’m ok until told otherwise  Men eh :?

It's very pleasant weather here - nice and sunny but far fresher than last week 8-) The usual Monday stuff for me. Put some washing on, then went into town to meet Em. Mick's been round to D's to move out her old washing machine, ready for the new one that's being delivered tomorrow.

Love to all xx

Hello all and good evening... sigh this day has just flown by.

Up early to head to the allotment to water, then home, get showered and ready for the day - a quick tidy of the kitchen and then logged on for work; and now it's nearly 5.30pm; not quite sure how that happened. I'll log off at 6 sharp and then rush to Sainsbury's to get bits in for the next three days as I think they'll all be office days so no time for shopping then and I need food for myself, the cats and the chickens

Hope everyone had a lovely day and has a lovely evening xxx
