Morning Cruiser, morning everyone

Warm now the sun is out, was decidedly cooler at 6.00 this morning  34C for us, which is my ideal temperature. Just wish it was cooler at night.

That's the watering done. Grumpy came out to help, just as I was filling the last two watering cans

Steve is finally coming up this morning, to sort out the leaky loo. I have the vacuuming and mopping to do.

We're off out to lunch :Hi: Think I deserve it, putting up with the patient for the last month

Have a good day everyone, whatever you're doing xx

Morning all, it’s cloudy here and breezy but still warm. Edward says he is going for a walk soon, but I’m not dressed yet so I might pop out later although rain is forecast. I have one wash in the machine and will do the towels after that. Otherwise nothing planned for the day, I feel a bit meh so might just read. Miss Osc and family will be enjoying their last day in Portugal as they are coming home tomorrow. Last night, we decided to stay an extra night in Belfast when we go to the Open golf in a few weeks’ time - luckily the apartment we had booked was able to give us an extra night. This will cut down on driving time considerably - instead of driving to Portrush on the Wednesday and then to Belfast, we will now drive to Belfast on Tuesday and go back and forth to Portrush on Wednesday and Thursday, a much shorter drive. As the only driver, I’m very relieved, the less driving I have to do, the better.

Morning all :D

Hot 8-)

There was a bit of rain overnight, but everything was almost dry when we got up this morning. It definitely hasn't made any difference to the temperature, another day lazing in the garden beckons. Roast chicken with salad for dinner, choccy blancmange with orange jelly for pud. I'll need to move the fan into the kitchen later today while I get it ready.

Hope you all have a good day xx

Good morning all.
A little bit fresher here, but still warm.
We have had a little shower this morning and had a long period of rain yesterday; big drops but not many of them; very odd.
Enjoy your lunch Jan; we're going out too, to a local pub for Sunday dinner. Quite looking forward to it.
Have a nice day everyone.

Change of plan.

Steve came up, sorted out the inner gubbins of the loo and then said he's off to Castro Verde, so I went with him, as we were going tomorrow anyway. He has a pick-up, so was able to put all four big planters in it, as well as compost :Hi:

Him and Jacquie are taking a couple of friends out to lunch, as they helped him when he was ill, so we'll meet them at the Palma later

Afternoon all, it’s a bit fresher today and we’ve not long had a downpour (while John, Joe and Jade were out walking George).

Had breakfast made for us by Joe and Jade, they walked over to the Co op and came back with bacon, sausages and a sour dough loaf so we had bacon and sausage sandwiches.

There’s a chicken cooling and we’ll have that with salad. Tom’s coming over shortly and messaged me last night to say he’d got pudding sorted. He’d just been to Tim Horton’s for a Too Good To Go bag and had a box of 12 donuts for £5, their donuts are usually £3-£4 each.

Not much else planned for today, we’re all pretty wiped out with the heat.

Have a good day all :D

Afternoon everyone :)

Much cooler here today :) We’ve had breakfast at Portivo’s, then nipped to B&Q for a new hanging basket, as the heat has killed off the one by my front door. Currently round at D’s.

Enjoy your Sunday xx
