Morning Cruiser, morning everyone

Strange how 18C can feel cold, but it's a chilly breeze out there. A very pleasant 33C later.

Watering done, sheep back after their night away and I actually had a good nights sleep  No dogs, no munchers in the wood  Just Grumpy, losing blood again, from his top lip. Blood everywhere again

Got the bed and pillows stripped, made sure he had a wedge of tissue held tightly against the cut and then back to bed.

First load of washing out and I'll mop the floors later.

Popping down to the bar later, both of us, although he's be on alcohol free beer. He finishes the tablets tonight, thankfully. Feeling better, can move better and only an odd ache.

Have a good day everyone, whatever you're doing xx

Morning all, we had a good night last night, saw lots of people we hadn’t seen in a while. Driving there was unpleasant, very hot and the ac in the car just about keeping it bearable, with sun shining in on my side of the car. We were late home and unfortunately the meal I had didn’t sit easily so I got very little sleep due to feeling rubbish. So I’ve had my breakfast and am now heading back to bed for a few hours. It’s very warm again with hazy sunshine. No plan for the day, all ironing up to date and the bathrooms can be done on Monday.

Morning all :D

Hot 8-)

We were up and out at silly o'clock for our weekly M&S trolley dash. Last week's flood left us a bit short so bought a bit more than usual...........ooops made the credit card wince :o

They've just played Typically Tropical's Barbados on the radio, I wish........ Will be doing very little, the humidity in this country doesn't agree with me, I'll be sitting under the big umbrella in the garden today.

Hope you all have a good day xx

Good morning.
I hope you feel better soon Osc.
Jenny yes, it has been very close recently.
Jan, I'm glad you got a good night's sleep.
You do right with the ironing Cruiser, it can wait.
Watching the cricket from Headingley today, I don't know if anything else is on the horizon.
Have a nice day everyone.

Afternoon all, we’ve got rain but it’s so hot and humid.

I’ve not stopped all morning. We had someone to view the house so basically if you stood still you either got dusted, hoovered or picked up and put in the garage. Joe kept George occupied while I did this as John’s working on a site visit. I was melting! Anyway the plan was that the estate agent would come just before 10.30 so I could show him around so he knew where everything was and then I’d clear off out into the shady woods with George, because he’s prone to zoomies when we get visitors, while he did the viewing. Joe needed to go out around the same time,
Anyway, the people were late as they were coming from Leicester and got caught up in traffic, and the estate agent was making noises about having to be gone by 11 to get to his next appointment and how he hated rushing people around on viewings. I had a quick word with Joe and he delayed going out so that he could take George while I sent the estate agent on his way and waited for the people to come to do the viewing myself, because I didn’t like the idea of people being rushed in and out either.
Anyway, it worked well as I was able to answer a lot of questions that they had about the local area, shops and schools etc.

Need to go shopping when John’s back to get all that Tesco failed to deliver yesterday! The plan last night was to have a mini barbecue this evening, just me and John as Joe and Jade are at a friend’s barbecue. Might be nice sitting out in the rain!

Have a good day all :D

Afternoon everyone :)

We've been out all day :) Firstly into the Quays with Em to meet our old friend Trisha who moved away to Wiltshire a few years ago. Nice to catch up :) Meanwhile Mick and Dave were.having a coffee in Corretto's so after Trish left we went to meet them and sat outside with a cuppa. Coffee ran into lunchtime and so we went into the new Food Dock for a quick bite of lunch.
We've been round to D's this afternoon, her washing machine has given up the ghost so Mick ordered her a new one on AO - it's coming Tuesday.
Becky and Daisy stayed.home today - B wanted to get a few things done and it's too hot for Daisy - 30° today!

Definitely too hot for ironing Cruiser! xx

I'm glad Grumpy is feeling better Jan xx

Sorry you're not too well, Osc. I don't think this humid heat helps! I felt dreadful on Thursday night, and cried off from Pilates xx

Jen, dry heat abroad is much more tolerable, isn't it? :? xx

Hope you're enjoying the cricket, Crommers xx

Fingers crossed that the viewers liked it Jo! XX

Have a good evening everyone :) xxx
