Good morning Ally and anybody else who is up.

Itis 19C this morning and the sun is out with a blue sky. Forecast says it will gethotter, up to 30C in some places.

Going to the libray to do some more research for my family tree. This afternoon will be doing some more gradening.
Stil some ironing but that can wait till it is cooler.

Warm now, but was lovely and cool earlier. Another 38C for us.

Been a very productive morning All the ice plants cut back and lobbed over the fence for the sheep Five plants put in on the bank, hopefully they'll keep the soil together and some weeding done. Weeds also chucked over the fence

Also put some tomato plants in bigger pots and put some washing out.

Coffee time now and hopefully, Grumpy will finish the pool off. I nearly went in yesterday, but it's still a little murky

I have some ironing, but not sure now is the best time. Might do it first thing in the morning, tomorrow.

Morning all, there was heavy fog overnight and it is taking its time clearing. I had a truly dreadful night, very little sleep, so I’m feeling a bit zombified. Ironing needs to be done, and this morning we’ll practice a few dances as we are going to a social tomorrow and need to do some refreshing of various dances. I need to go and take out some money, plus post a birthday card.

Saundra, it’s great that Jonathan can call to see you easily.

Didn't get around to doing the driveway yesterday, peeps over the road are having work done and the road was full of cars so nowhere to put mine. Still looks a bit busy out there so will see how the day goes.

Good afternoon.
A lovely one it is too.
We are just back from an M&S run to Pontefract.
This morning we went up for the papers to the top of the village. Eliza's school is right next to the Sainsbury's local where we get the papers from.
When we got there smoke was coming out of the school building at a fair rate and the children were in the playground.
There was a fire in the school kitchen.
Long story short all the children were moved round the corner to the junior school, three large and one small fire engine turned up and the fire was put out.
We don't know if the school will reopen tomorrow or not.

It's very hot here, 30+ as mentioned previously. The aircon in Tesco was a blessed relief - we lingered Taking it very easy this afternoon - B has had an aircon unit delivered so we're trying it out, mainly for Daisy's sake bless her! Not going to Pilates, it's far too hot for that stuffy hall tonight.
