Good morning Monday

Postby Ally » 12 May 2025, 05:44

Good morning.

Sunny and forecast 30°. 8-)

I've got an appointment at 9.40 at the centro salud to see the nurse.

From there we'll go food shopping.

Don will be busy doing dongeony stuff whilst I have the nicer option of lying by the pool.

TV tonight.

Have a great day.

Morning Ally, morning everyone

Sunny but not that warm yet. Was gorgeous yesterday afternoon, so hoping for the same today :D

Good luck with the nurse Ally x

More weeding for us  Bottom drive this time. We've both spent a little time on it, but now we're going to attack from it from either end and meet - hopefully - in the middle

Bedding to be washed once the pair of them get up and leftovers for dinner.

Have a good day everyone, whatever you're doing xx

Hello and good morning everyone :-)

Big (((hugs))) back at ya Saundra xxxx
Good luck with the appointment Ally, and enjoy lazying about whilst supervising Don
Jan, hope the weeding goes well and fingers crossed for another lovely afternoon for you.

Well, not much to update my end; and apologies for the radio silence - I really need to get over my dislike of typing on my phone :( . I'm not sure I am allowed to access personal sites on my work laptop, the new company definitely has more stringent controls in place, so I need to use my personal laptop, and once I'm done with work, I don't want to see another computer LOL.

Bank holiday weekend we (my brother Karl and I) drove over to Germany to visit my mom for her birthday, had a lovely time there and mom did really well, which was great. Then last week was a busy one with work, leaving home just after 7 and getting home late. But the weekend just gone was a lovely busy and productive one in the garden. I got all my plants potted up / out, sowed some seeds that probably should have been sown a few weeks back, but hey ho - things will catch up; just hope everything germinates and grows. And I managed to mow the lawns, everything just looks so much neater... A work from home day for me today so making the most of some 'me time' this morning before logging on.

Have a lovely day everyone xxxx

Morning all, it’s cloudier today and rain is forecast for this afternoon. Still forecast to be 23° though.

I’ve walked George, we’re planning on driving over to Stafford this evening for a walk around the town centre to see what he makes of that. It’ll be quieter in the evening so a bit easier on him.

The first load of washing is in, hopefully it’ll dry before any rain starts. I’ve got Royal Mail delivering a parcel too, or at least I hope they do as I changed the delivery date to today.

Sending a great big hug back Saundra xx

Have a good day all :D

Good morning everybody.

The sun is trying to come out. Buit there are some grey clouds. It was 17C when I got up.

Busy morning. Have got to mke some phone calls and the engineer is coming to sort out the frezer.
Will try to do some ironing as it has dried overnight. I will also go and get a new sponge to clean the car. Have had the existing one for everal
years and it is coming apart.

Ria, my lawn need cuting, but I am leaving it as it is very dry. Not had any rain fo weeks. Just ssn report from Water compnay to say resevoirs are
only just over 60% full. Normly they are over 90% at this time of the year. Will be having hose pipe bans and water ratining soon.

Have a good day eveybody.

We had a good rainfall last night cruiser, it was very much needed. I heard on the radio that apparently we've had the driest something (I thought they said Spring, but given Spring isn't over, it can't be that); in 69 years? But I agree that we definitely are facing a hosepipe ban this year. But the water companies also need to take responsibility and fix water leaks.

Morning all, we are on the train to Rosslare for our night away. So far so good with the travel, settling down now for almost three hours. 53 years married today, how did that happen! The weather is damp and cool as it was that morning but hopefully it will turn nice and sunny as it did later that day.

Good to see you Saundra, sending a big hug back.

I've been in town with Emma, just the usual lunch and mooch around. Bought some new undies. It's been very warm, a bit sticky, and I think we might get a storm.
