Afternoon all, we've been in town pottering, originally we went in because Debenhams had a 50% off day, but most of the offers were 20% off. I got two tops and a dress, the dress and one top were 20% off and another top was 50% off. Then we went to the bargain shop of a department store where I got Van Dal shoes for €35 a pair, and Mr. Osc got some sleeveless tops for golf and Pringle socks, all at a really good price. Just home now and enjoying a cup of tea, the weather held up ok, although it is still too cold, which is really annoying. Loz, I've been thinking of you today xxxx Enjoy the rest of the day everyone :)

Glad you had a good time Jo, I've seen the piccies and they're very clear, really good 8-)

I do so agree about the weather affecting your mood 8-)

Well I went to Sainsbury's but it was hammering down so much I gave Mick a quick ring when I'd finished to see if he could pick me up, instead of trudging home through the monsoon! Luckily he wasn't too busy so I got my lift 8-)

I was chatting to a lady in the queue there and said how I don't think I've ever worn jeans, boots and knitwear in May before! She was off to Spain in a few weeks and hoping for good weather - Ally, I told her my FB friend who lived there was always getting sunshine so that cheered her up :P

Osc that sounds like a great day - well done on the bargains 8-)

This is the dress, although oddly enough it's much longer on me :? Might think about taking it up, will have to try it on with sandals and see how it looks. It might make an appearance in Birmingham depending on the weather ;)

Sunny on it's own isn't good enough - we need warmth too, don't forget to pack a bit of that!

Kaz I'm just wearing a dress as I'm over for a lengthy stay lots of little dresses take up less room than my Levi's or skinnies in my case. :D :D
