Good morning Easter Sunday

Postby Ally » 20 Apr 2025, 05:22

Good morning.

Sunny and forecast 24°. 8-)

It's the final Easter processions at noon so we'll go and watch them and then we've a table booked for lunch. :D

TV tonight. I resisted watching last Sunday's episode of This City Is Ours when Don was away so we've got a doubler to watch. Naff title but a gripping Scouse drama nevertheless. :cute:

Have a great day.

Morning everyone

Another cold, wet and windy morning  Roll on Tuesday

Not a lot planned for today, did what I could outside, between the showers yesterday, will give it a miss today.

Lamb cutlets on the bbq later, with a bottle of a friend's wine. Should be okay to drink now, they bottled it earlier this year.

Grumpy has a chocolate bunny to munch, I'll stick to Macieira Creme - a brandy based drink, like Baileys, but not so sweet.

Have a good day everyone, whatever you're doing xx

Morning all, it’s fairly dull here but dry at the moment. Happy Easter everyone! My sister is coming for dinner, we’ll eat around 2pm. Miss Osc and family are in Wicklow. Edward marinated the lamb overnight and is peeling spuds just now. I need to whip cream for the trifle I made yesterday and run the Dyson around - but first, shower >>>>>>>>>>

Good morning everyone, happy easter.
Daughter and family are coming down for dinner today, so that will be nice.
Not much else on. We may explore YouTube later after the footie.
It's sunny here but the wind is still a sneaky chilly one.
Have a lovely day everybody.

Morning all :D

Hot 8-)

We had a lovely evening, Champers is my all time favourite restaurant. The service is great and the food is absolutely delicious. Even the setting is perfect being perched over the waves and we certainly had some huge ones last night. Luckily we weren't affected by the spray, but the table next to us got drenched as a bigger than average wave hit the rocks below. Luckily they'd already eaten their dinner and just laughed. It's one of the things I love most, people are so chilled over here.

Planning a meander to the Gap later, although most shops are shut, a lot of the restaurants and shacks are open so we'll find somewhere to eat. Nothing fancy needed today.

HAPPY EASTER xx
