You and Don had the best idea, leaving the darned place! Wish we could but are tied here at least until H is 18 - I'd emigrate in a heartbeat

I know how lucky we are to live in the sun Kaz and truly believe it gives a 'feel good' factor.

I've just been talking to mum and she has the light on in her lounge.

Fingers crossed for better weather. x

You'll get cramp Ally, and it's not convenient to be without your fingers for several months  ;)

Morning all :D

Overcast and miserable here!!

Going to visit mother this morning and hopefully, mood permitting, take her to the golf club for coffee. It's only 5mins drive from the CH so not too far to go and they do nice cakes which she usually enjoys. I won't be taking her summer clothes in though, still much too cold.

This afternoon we're off to see the new Star Trek movie and already I'm beyond excited  I've got a bit of a thing about Zachary Quinto, loved him in Heroes and he's absolutely brilliant as Spock. We'll probably find somewhere for late lunch/early dinner afterwards.

Hope you all have a good day :D

Morning all. Thanks for your thoughts (((((((((VV))))))))) I'm fine x
We also have horrid cold wet weather here. It's so depressing isn't it? I shall be going to tango tonight, so at least the music and the mood will be sunny.
Have a good day everyone whatever you are doing x

Good morning all, glad I took Billy out earlier when the sun was shining as it's gone very cloudy now. I don't think there's much chance of my washing drying before the rain starts. I wouldn't mind but most of it is John's cycling clothing from a wet and muddy Sunday ride in the Lake District  I hate his bike stuff hanging around the house.

Joe and I had an amazing time in Manchester yesterday. All plans for getting a bite to eat after seeing the team went straight out of the window and we ended up following the them into the city centre  It was a long and slow - but fun - walk behind the bus and we just about had time to grab a couple of sweet chilli chicken wraps from McDonalds, to go, and made it onto the train with a couple of minutes to spare. I'll put a few photos on the board later if anyone is interested.

My thoughts are with Loz today (((((Loz)))))

Ally, the sun certainly does give you the feel good factor, I was only saying that to John when we had a taste of Summer (or was that our Summer?) over the bank holiday weekend.

It did make such a big difference didn't it Jo, a couple of days of lovely warm sunshine made the world a better place to be :)

So glad you and Joe went, it looked brilliant on TV :)
