Jasmine

For those non-humans who share our home

Oh Lozzles, we were away all weekend, and I only caught up on this now when I saw your FB status. All us pet owners have been through this, and like you I remember crying all the way home in the car after Oscar left us, and Mr. Osc and myself literally sobbing as we buried him in the garden. Thinking of you and sending you big big hugs ((((((Loz)))))) - yes, it's the hardest thing but the very kindest thing to do for your beloved pet.

(((Loz))))) as Osc says; doing what you did is the hardest thing for us humans yet the kindest and greatest gift we can give our beloved pets - a peaceful and dignified passing.

Night night beautiful Jasmine; run free and play hard at the bridge xxx

Thanks everyone. I slept ok, but it was strange putting the kettle on this morning and not hearing Jasmine say good morning to me. Jasper is confused and has been searching for her. He keeps going out into the garden and hunting under the hedges for her :(
I'm supposed to be taking Jasper to the vet for his yearly booster, but I will cancel it. Too soon.
