Postby JanB » 25 Dec 2024, 09:25

Morning everyone

Happy Christmas :Hi: :Hi: :Hi:

It's sunny, but only 5C  The sun is melting the frost pretty quickly and we'll soon warm up to 18C.

Not a lot planned, get the fire going soon and then just the two of us.

Have a lovely day everyone xx especially those on their own xx

Good morning JanB and Medec and anybody else who is up.

Merry Christmas to everybody.
It was only 13C whenI got up. It is misty with grey clouds.
Just a day of relaxing. Will listen to the Kings speech before I cook my dinner. Roast chicken breast with leeks and roast potatoes, followed by Christmas pudding with doube cream.
It may upset my blood sugar levels but I am having some enjoyment while I still can.

Will geta phone call from my son and family later as they are in Kent.

:Hi: :Hi: :Hi:

Morning all, it’s a nice one here and mild too. We had a lovely Christmas Eve and are looking forward to being with Miss Osc and family later for dinner. Shortly we will head out for a walk around the block and we are expected at Miss Osc’s around 3pm. I have one present to open here at home, from my nephew and his wife. She always sends me a lovely calendar so it’ll be good to see what this year’s is. I already have lots to write on to it! I hope you all have a lovely day.

Ally, I only saw about your change in plans just now - I hope both ladies are doing better today and enjoy your extra day with Craig.

Good morning from a beautifully sunny Nottingham. 8-)

We've been for an early morning walk to build up an appetite for bacon and eggs. :D

We've got loads of goodies and plenty to watch on TV. :D

The Bailey's will be opened and Linkee will be played.

Merry Christmas everyone. xx

S's mum is much better. Carmen is still quite poorly.

Happpy Chrismas :D :D Image

As you know it's just the two of us today so we've had a nice lie in and now having brekkie. When we've finished I'll get the veg prepped for dinner, but as there's no rush we won't actually have it till later this afternoon. We have a few pressies from the family to open, but we don't buy for each other these days, this year our treat is the trip to see Hogwarts in the Snow in January.

Hope you all have a good day xx
