Good morning here, we have sunshine and showers and it's a tad windy and chilly too.

I've got Joe here with me today, I've booked him an emergency 1 day holiday off school. The two of us are heading up to Manchester shortly to see United's parade through the city. I wasn't planning on going with it being a school day but Sir Alex Ferguson's announcement last week changed my mind.

Wonderful Di!! :D

Loz, you and Jasmine are in my thoughts xx

Afternoon all, it's fairly changeable here today and still not warm enough for the time of year. We had a bit of a sleep on this morning to catch up after the weekend, so didn't get out of the bed until almost 9.30am :o Washing is out, kitchen tidied, and now I'm having a little laptop time. Want to change our bed linen and maybe do some hoovering, and himself is playing golf a bit later than normal. Otherwise, nothing particular planned. We are talking about going into town tomorrow as Debenhams has a 50% off day and we want to look at summer stuff (just in case we get a summer ;) ).

Jo, enjoy the parade, great decision to take Joe, Mr. Osc has just caught up on yesterday's match and I'm sure there will be huge crowds to mark the retirement of Sir Alex. Loz, hope Jasmine cat will be ok xxx Have a good day everyone

Thanks Isc, I'm sue we'll have a brilliant time, it's just a shame that Tom can't come as well but he starts his GCSEs this week...he was there, aged 2, in 1999 though when they brought the European Cup home :D
