Morning Ally, morning everyone

A gorgeous morning and 22C for us too. But a chilly 8C tonight  The fire will be lit tonight

Washing to be done and also will head outside to do some weeding, cutting back of plants and pulling up as much of the oxalis as I can. Blasted stuff just takes over and kills the plants it's hiding in.

Sadly, the donkey has been moved and I can't reach him, otherwise, he'd be in for a feast.

Have a good day everyone, whatever you're doing xx

Good morning.
Grey here and none too warm.
Steve the painter and decorator is coming today to do the bathroom. He does a good job.
Jim is back in hospital again. He fell and hit his head - again. It's a wonder he's not punch drunk. We must have had eight or nine phone calls yesterday.
Later on we might be walking our daughter's dog. He's a happy soul.
Have a nice day everyone.

Morning all :)

Have a good one Ally :) xx

Sorry for that poor donkey, Jan :( He must miss you xx

That will be nice Cruiser :) xx

Oh Crommers, that’s not good :( xx

The sun is out here, and we had a slight frost overnight. I so prefer this bright, crisp weather to the interminable grey :D We’re about to go out for breakfast, then round to see D.

Have a good day everyone :) xx

Morning all, it’s bright and cold here, I’d be happy with this kind of weather all winter. Edward has gone to play golf. I have bits and pieces to do, including getting stuff ready for our trip to Westport for a five-night dance break, going on Sunday. We’ll be driving so we can bring as much as we want! I’m getting my nails done and eyebrows tinted at 2.30. Better get on with it.

Morning all :D

Rain

Ally enjoy your walk.
Jan be careful not to overdo the weeding.
Cruiser hope you get all your shopping.
Crommers not good news about Jim, hope the hospital keep him in long enough to assess if he should be home alone.
Kaz breakfast out is always a treat.
Osc lovely to have a break to look forward to.

Had a busy time on the pc yesterday, got quite a few things sorted and even better made a booking for January to do the Harry Potter Warner Bros. Studio Tour to see Hogwarts in the Snow. We did the summer tour way before we moved down here, but they've added a lot more since then. Have wanted to do it for ages, but with all the ops between us over the last 6yrs or so we weren't up to it. If that's taught us anything it's to do as much as we can now before we're really too old.

We're off to the cinema to see Red One at 1pm. It's had mixed reviews, but it has two of my favourite action stars, Dwayne Johnson (The Rock) and Chris Evans (Captain America) so should be fun. Need to pick up an order from M&S on the way home, hoping this rain stops by then.

Hope you all have a good day xx

I had just put the washing out when Jorge rang to say he will be here this morning with wood

So it came in again

He's here now, so it can go out again when he's gone.

Agree with Jen re Jim, Crommers. Hope they keep him in a little longer and do a proper assessment.
