Good morning Tuesday

Postby meriad » 29 Oct 2024, 07:29

What, me the first one?    haven't had that in a while

WFH day for me - yay! Lots of admin stuff still to catch up on so it will be the usual mix of work and pootle and tidy (oh and Sainsbury's! ;) ) Meeting up with a friend this evening but that's about all that is planned for the day.

Have a good one, whatever it is you are all up to x

Morning Ria, morning everyone

Sunny at the moment, few clouds around and rain expected this afternoon. Warmer at 22C and slightly warmer tonight, thankfully.

Little bit of ironing to get out of the way this morning, shower, then meeting friends. I've reserved a 1,000 litre water tank for them, so they're picking it up and then we're heading off to lunch.

That will it for the day

Have a good day everyone, whatever you're doing xx

Thanks for checking Vic, and no, you didn't miss anything.

My contract with my current employer ends next week Wednesday, 6th. Because it was brought forward for a month they are still paying me, which gives me all of November and December to be more active with the job hunt in the hope I find something to start early in the new year. Closing a 4000sq foot office in a month has been a challenge; I've learned a lot during these four weeks and it's been interesting, but it didn't give me time to do much about job hunting, so I decided to focus on the office closing first.

I've got my CV out with a few recruiters and am keeping an eye on various sites but will ramp it up next month

Morning all, looks nice enough out there. Miss Osc is collecting us 10ish and we will get on the road to Belfast for our overnight stay and Titanic visit. We’ll stop at the shopping outlet in Banbridge, it makes a nice stop off point for coffee/toilet/shopping ;) They have an M&S outlet there which is always worth a look :D Back tomorrow.

Morning all :D

It's been raining, but the sun's out now, let's hope it lasts.

Fingers tightly crossed a new job is waiting for you Ria.
Have a good time Osc.

We're off to the cinema later to see Venom: The Last Dance. It's had mixed reviews, but I love Tom Hardy and we've enjoyed the last two.

Hope you all have a good day xx

Good afternoon.
A lovely one it is too. 17c according to the car thermometer. Lots of sunshine.
We have been to pay the gas and electric bills and drop some clothes off at the charity shop. Later on we are making a cottage pie and MrsC has a hospital appointment.
