Good morning Saturday

Postby Ally » 26 Oct 2024, 06:08

Good morning.

Lovely and sunny and forecast 23°. 8-)
Even though we're not using the ceiling fan at night now we're still only using a duvet cover which still gets chucked off.

Off for a walk nice and early. :D

Conor and Lucia are returning from Seville today and coming over to take us out for lunch. :D

SCD tonight and a Chinese takeaway. :cute:

Have a great day.

**Don't forget the clocks go back tonight. **

Morning Ally, morning everyone

Sunny, but rather cool. Down to single figures last night and tonight too  But the sun feels very pleasant 8-) 8-)

I really must do the ironing and cleaning today. Neither of us felt like doing anything at all yesterday, so we didn't

Might pop down to the bar later, depends if we get some of the forecasted rain showers or not.

Have a good day everyone, whatever you're doing xx

Good morning Ally, JanB and anybody elsrwho is up.

When I got upand went for the paper, I got a nose bleed. There are spots of blod on the back of the paper-- the sports page. There are two hankies covered
in blood in the washing machine. They will be part of the next load. It stopped when I got home and had my breakfast.

It was15C when I got up. It may get warmer as there is a lovely blue sky and the sun is out.

A day of cleaning, polishing and tidying up.

Have a good day everybody.

Morning all, it’s another pleasant morning and still mild. We are heading out to a shopping centre that has an M&S as I want to look at trousers, I don’t have a pair of smart trousers, just jeans. I also want to look for a hot air hair styler that they didn’t have in the Boots I was in the other day but are supposed to have in the branch we are going to today. Edward is busy putting a nice piece of ham in the slow cooker so that it can do its thing while we are out. Setting off fairly soon as it is a bank holiday weekend here and the shopping centre could be busy. Strictly this evening and anything else we can find to watch.

Good morning.
A lovely sunny morning here.
We had a good night out last night watching the big band that our son plays in.
MrsC recognised one of the people dancing. This is no surprise; if she was climbing Mount Everest a sherpa would come up and say "Hello Christine! I haven't seen you for ages..."
I need to get a bank statement today. I hope your nose bleed doesn't come on again Cruiser.
Have a nice day everyone.

Morning all :D

Damp and dull

We were up and out early for the M&S trolley dash. Honestly my brain's got lost somewhere, I wrote a list and still managed to leave some regular items off. Since getting back I've been doing everything back to front, probably should go back to bed and started all over again

Was planning to get out in the garden, but it's drizzling now so doubt we will.

Looking forward to Strictly this evening. Will also watch The Voice finals, winning is a big ask, but hopefully the exposure will be helpful, the twins really are very good.

Hope you all have a good day xx

Afternoon everyone :)

It's a beautiful sunny day here :) We picked B up from the station at 10.30 then headed to Dobbie's garden centre to meet Em and Dave for brunch. Unfortunately there was a mix-up over which one - Em thought she'd said Tewksbury but had actually suggested Cirencester! So there followed a confused phone conversation but eventually we went to Tewksbury, and at least on the way we got nice views of the autumnal colours of the Cotswolds :?

Mick and I both had our jabs at 2pm, so we're having a nice quiet afternoon now :) xx

Love to all :) xx
