Good morning.

Another gorgeous warm day forecast. 8-)

Off to Guadalmar with Don for a walk and we'll get some food shopping on the way home.

Jacob and Conor are 32 today so we'll go out for lunch to celebrate. :cute:

TV tonight.

Have a great day.

Morning Ally, morning everyone

Lovely, sunny morning and another warm one 8-)

Happy Birthday to the boys :Hi: :Hi:

One load of washing out, then I'm off out after shower and breakfast. Tootsies this morning and I need to get a couple of things, whilst I'm in Ourique. Will pit stop at the bar and found out how Jose is doing too.

Back for either ironing or gardening. Personally, I'd do gardening

Think I might do a roast pork for dinner, got to cut up the loin anyway, so will make big cuts, as well as smaller one's.

Have a good day everyone, whatever you're doing xx

Oh, spoke to Chris last night and looks like it's going to be February, before she and Lucy can get back here. Chemo, for the next couple of months, which she has refused, up until now, but she's been persuaded that it's the best option for her.

Hello and good morning Ally and everyone

Happy birthday to the twins Ally, enjoy your parental celebrations! :Hi: :Hi: :Hi:
Jan, gardening wins over ironing any day!!! Hoping for good news re Jose. And good luck for Chris with the chemo treatment; never pleasant, but fingers crossed it does what it's meant to x

Done two loads of washing and have them out on the line - it's meant to be dry and partially sunny today, so making the most of it. Going to be a busy day for me today trying to get things sorted before heading to Germany tomorrow; it's always such a faff getting things ready for the people coming in to feed the chickens and the cats. And obviously continuing with the tying up of loose ends for the upcoming office closure. But hey ho - keeping busy keeps me out of trouble

Have a lovely day all x

Morning all, another bright one and it’s quite mild. We’re off on the shopping trip we postponed yesterday, the list has been growing especially for Boots. We’re going early as I have a nail appointment for 3pm so need to be back for that. Just need to tidy around before we go.

Jan, do you live in Alentejo? I think I saw that that’s where Harry and Meghan are supposed to have bought a house.

Good morning.
Colder this morning.
Tony the electrician has just gone. He has connected a new fitting in the kitchen and fixed a wonky fitting in the downstairs toilet. £40. We tried to make him take more but he wouldn't have it.
Jan, definitely gardening. Happy birthday to the twins Ally. Enjoy Germany Ria and I hope Boots has everything in for you Osc.
have a nice day everyone.

Morning all :D

Nice and sunny 8-)

Ally Happy Birthday to the boys.

We're off to our little 600 seater Granville Theatre this evening. It's situated on the clifftop nearby and was derelict when we moved here, but a local company took over and it's been completely renovated and seems to be doing really well. We'll be seeing The Drifters, I saw them way back in the late 60's, coincidentally Ed was at the same show, but of course we didn't know until some years later, small world and all that  Of course this isn't the original group, they've all gone now, but this group was put together by the daughter of the man who formed them. So long as they sound as good I'll be happy, one of my all time favourites is Save The Last Dance For Me, nostalgia time here I come :D

Hope you all have a good day xx

Yes we do Osc, but in the cheap end

They're up in the posh part of the Alentejo, near the coast and Lisbon.

Evening everyone :)

A very happy birthday to the twins Ally :D :D xx

Jan, that made me laugh. You won't be popping round to Haz and Meg's then, for a cocktail? ;) xx

Safe trip to Germany, Ria :) Have a lovely time xx

Hope you got all you went for Osc :) xx

Crommers we need to completely replace our downstairs loo, luckily Mick can do it. In fact he's out right now collecting one from Wicks. Hope yours can be sorted less expensively xx

That's a great song, Jen. I hope you enjoy your evening xx

It's been a quiet day here. I went into town to meet J for a cuppa, got a few bits from the M&S Food hall - we love their raspberry jam - and then came home.

Love to all xx
