Good morning Tuesday

Postby Ally » 22 Oct 2024, 06:47

Good morning.

Another day of sunshine and 27°. 8-)

I'll have a coffee with Conor before he heads home. Him and Lucia are off to Seville tomorrow. :P

I'm meeting a friend for lunch. It'll be a lengthy one.

Have a great day.

Morning Ally, morning everyone

Thick fog  Making the internet slower than it usually is  But once that goes, we're in for another lovely, sunny and warm day.

I have a pile of ironing to get through, then might go and strip another yucca. Depends how the blisters go

Have a good day everyone, whatever you're doing xx

And thoughts for our Jose, from the bar. He's in Beja Hospital, with a very nasty internal infection

Morning all, it looks pleasant enough out there. Edward has a doc appointment at 11.00 to review his recent blood test results, we had planned to go shopping afterwards but then Miss Osc asked could we have Kellie for a little while this afternoon so the shopping expedition has been pushed back to tomorrow. I did lots of ironing yesterday, and won’t need to do any more for a couple of days. Nothing else planned for the day.

Hello everyone, good morning

Ally, enjoy the lunch with your friend; I love a good lunch catch up and natter.
Oh Jan, that's a worry about Jose, hope the hospital manages to get things under control and he's home soon.
Osc, enjoy the afternoon with Kellie

A work from home day for me; so catching up on emails and admin etc that I just can't do when I'm in the office because I'm busy sorting. All going to plan I only have five more days of needing to go in (including driving in Sunday 3rd to pick up the last personal things). My official last day will be Wednesday 6th November.

Besides the catching up, I need to head to Sainsbury's and the South African shop to pick up some bits to take to Germany with me. Karl, my brother, and I are driving over on Thursday to see our mom and the family there always has a few requests from the SA shop.

Have a lovely day all x

Good morning.
A nice autumn morning here. The leaves have some beautiful autumnal colours now.
Later we are going to Sainsbury's and will make a cottage pie for the evening meal.
Ally, enjoy being a lady that lunches! Jan, I hope Jose improves quickly. I bet you have a lovely time with Kellie, Osc and good luck to Edward with the bloods. Let's hope the SA shop has all the bits and bobs you want Ria.
Have a good day everyone.

Morning all :D

Bright and sunny 8-)

It didn't stop raining yesterday so we didn't get out to do a garden tidy. Think it's forecast to stay nice today so I expect we'll get out there later.

Hope you all have a good day xx

Well that wasn-t the day I-d planned

Grumpy kept rubbing one eye, complaining it was sore and running. I had a look and took him to the chemist and he-s now got some cream for it. No idea what had happened, but it should clear up in a day or so.

So we did the shopping today, instead of tomorrow.

Popped in to the bar on the way back, Jose still the same, still high fever, on a drip and anti/biotics. Odett was going in this afternoon, so the bar will be shut.

By the time we left Aldi, the fog had gone and we had brilliant sunshine and blue sky :D

Afternoon everyone :)

Hope you enjoyed your lunch, Ally :) xx

Ooh Jan, poor Grumpy, eye problems are not nice! xx

Hope Ed’s results were ok Osc xx

Have a great trip, Ria :) xx

The trees are beautiful here too, Crommers - a wonderful display this year xx

Nice weather here too today, Jen and Saundra xx

As mentioned, it’s a lovely sunny day here :) We dropped B at the station this morning, on our way out for breakfast - she’s spending a few days with her dad. We’re on Daisy Dogsitting Duty  Not a chore, as she’s such a sweet little thing. Round to D’s after that.

Love to all xx

Evening all, I’ve been intending to log in all day but kept getting sidetracked.

Tom’s currently in the air over Germany on the way back from Krakow, he’s going straight home rather than coming back here so that he can sleep in a bit longer in the morning as it’s been a long day, he left here at 3.15am. Joe got back from Majorca at teatime. He was home for all of 25 minutes to pack his work bag and an overnight bag and then he was off to Jade’s  He said he had a fantastic weekend though, loved Palma (though it’s very expensive) and he said they’re considering doing something like this again next year, they’ve already found out that there’s a half marathon in Rhodes next Spring.

Have a good evening all :)
