Cherry Liquers you say?! From Aldi?

I’m like you Kaz, not an ounce of willpower where chocolate and shortbread are concerned.
I’ve just been in Home Bargains and picked up a packet of McVities Gingerbread Digestives for Joe to try.
He’s told me to hide them until he’s back from his half marathon in Majorca on Tuesday

I'll double-check tomorrow, but I swear last time I went to Aldi, they had chocolate Easter Bunnies in their Special Buys aisle as well .....

Bunnygate Update ......

So, they are chocolate Reindeer rather than Easter bunnies.
But they look just like ruddy rabbits to me

Bought 2 packets of Cranberry, Clementine and Chestnut stuffing, and a box of Thornton's Continental chocs today!

They won't last. Well the stuffing might, but the chocs... no chance. :D

The stuffing .... well, we had a packet today to accompany the chicken breasts.
Purely for the purposes of research, of course. :D

Actually, it wasn't all that brilliant. We'll use t'other one up sometime and have a rethink for Christmas.
At the end of the day, I guess you can't beat Paxo.

Oh yes you can.

Blitz or bash a few stale slices of bread with some dried sage, a bit of thyme or bay helps, obviously a chopped onion salt and pepper are needed, maybe a knob of butter. Add a few spoonfuls of chicken stock to moisten it, as much as needed, and then stuff the bird.

With a bit more stock you can roast it in a tray for extras.

You're welcome to Frank's cheap tricks. ;) :D :D
