I was shattered last night and think I heard rain as I was falling asleep so I'll check when I go outside. I do hope it did.

I'll have a swim this morning and then very happily relax for the rest of the day.

It's bright here today B did have an interview lined up, but she's had an email this morning to say the position has filled. That's ok as a recruitment firm has others lined up, one on Thursday. We'll be out for breakfast in a while.

It's Hannah's birthday today, she's 33 She and her partner are off mountain climbing while Michelle house sits the girls.

We're off to the cinema this afternoon to see Joker: Folie a' Deux. Really looking forward to it, there haven't been many films we've wanted to see just lately.

It has rained here this morning; it's clouded over.
We are picking Eliza up from school later.

Morning all, it’s quite cloudy today but at least last night’s heavy rain eventually stopped.

No plans today apart from an Ikea click and collect order to pick up tonight. They sell a really good clothes airer which is only £6 and as it’s basically a flat rectangle it’s ideal for lying wet woollens on to dry. I had two to use as Tom had one when he was at university but he took it with him when he moved.

Joe’s staying at Jade’s house tonight so just me and John for dinner.

Jen, I’ll be interested to hear what you think of the film. We’re seeing it tomorrow night, Joe saw it at the weekend and said it was shockingly bad which seems to tie in with what both critics and cinema goers have said.

Hope Becky gets something soon Kaz!

Jo we agree with the critics who say it's not quite as good as the first film, but almost. Joaquin Phoenix is absolutely brilliant and I hope he gets an Oscar as some have said. He totally inhabits Arthur and his fantasy world, Gaga is also very good.

It's completely different so I get why some people don't like it, we came out feeling disturbed, but also very sad.

Thanks Jen, I’m looking forward to seeing it as we both loved the first one. We even went back to the cinema a few nights later as we both needed to see it again, Joaquin Phoenix was outstanding so I’m eager to see him as Arthur again.

I’ll let you know what I think on Thursday.
