A very lovely 29° forecast.

I'll have an early swim as we need to leave at 11.30 to get over to Mijas for David's mum's funeral at 12.30.

There's a wee 'do' afterwards at Sue's favourite Chiringuito in Guadalmar.

We reckon after that we'll drop our car home, walk into town and have a couple of beers on our own and toast Sue's life.

Dinner out tonight. It's not a day for cooking.

A WFH day for me today - busy three days in the office ahead so making the most of today. A quick pop into Sainsbury's and then picking up Amelia from college at noon but that's it.

Morning all, it’s quite sunny which is a surprise.

The washing machine’s on, I’m taking advantage of the fact it’s not raining.

Me and Joe had a change of scenery yesterday, from the away end at Aston Villa. It made a change to only have to travel for 25 minutes, John gave us a lift and we went via Kingstanding to drop Joe’s girlfriend back home, then me and Joe got out by the Barton Arms at Newtown and walked. He picked us back up there afterwards.
Then it was back home to have something quick to eat before going over to Tom’s. He’d been to Ikea and bought a notice board for his kitchen and a bathroom cabinet so John took his tools and fitted those for him.

Not cold, still got the doors and windows open, but will be a wet week.

Another sad day here, but we'll be down at the bar later, to celebrate his long and eventful life.

After a mammoth washing and drying day yesterday, I have ironing Will get that done and then just a lazy day today. Had a good sleep last night, after two nights on a little uncomfy mattress.

Well we found a reclining chair rather than a sofa, and a nice coffee table We managed to get the table into the back of the BMW, and have collected the chair this afternoon thanks to Emma using her hubby's car which is bigger. Becks and I went into town this morning to have lunch with Em. I treated myself to some fleecy PJ's

B has an interview tomorrow with a vet practice in Newent but is also enrolled with a recruitment agency who're keen to get her more. She'll soon find something
