What is it with feedback?

Postby Workingman » 26 Sep 2024, 18:32

Everywhere I go places want feedback. Chemists, Doctor's surgery, the council, online, my bank(s), supermarkets, shops...

Do these places think that we are more engaged if we reply? Will they improve if we give them a negative? No chance, they don't read negatives.

I go places and pay their prices. I expect them to be competent as that is what I am paying for. I am not going to give them rave reviews for doing their job... it's what they should be doing.

I just do not reply or if I do it is really negative. None of them have ever asked "Why"?

Yep, had a "survey" arrive by text message just hours after I attended the surgery earlier this week for the diabetic review.
I never respond to these feedback requests.

But I did feel like sending a "survey" back ...

How was your experience of Mr Ostrich's visit today? Did you find him:
1. Uncooperative 2. Unresponsive 3. Grumpy 4. Curmudgeonly

I do rate one of the couriers as she is very good. Always has time for a chat.
Another company who delivered a parcel on Thursday only knocked on the door. Good job Ihad seen the van go past to turn round.
So no feedback

Doctors have asked to complete a survey for national statistics. Another NO_NO.

Even had one after I had a picture framed. That was a non-starer as it meant having a Google account.
